Undyed wool top and combed top for spinning

Wool top is washed wool combed so the fibers lie smooth and parallel. It's the easiest preparation to spin into even yarn and a perfect base for dyeing. Shop undyed merino, superwash merino, Polwarth, Rambouillet, Targhee, Cheviot, Corriedale Cross, natural brown and gray wool, and silk and nylon for blending.

Choosing an undyed breed

Merino is fine and very soft. Polwarth, Rambouillet, and Targhee are soft and bouncy. Corriedale Cross and Cheviot are forgiving medium wools. Natural browns and grays give color with no dye, and superwash merino dyes the brightest.
