Read the count before you choose
The numbers in a weaving yarn's name describe how it's made. The first number is the thickness of each strand, where a higher number means a finer strand. The second is how many plies are twisted together. That tells you a lot, but it can't replace a sample. A sturdy cotton warp twine, a fine linen, and a cottolin each weave up differently and need their own sett and finishing. Check each listing's stated use and yarn format before you plan to use the same cone for both warp and weft.
