Table looms for 4-shaft and multi-shaft weaving
A table loom gives you 4 or more shafts in a compact frame, lifted with hand levers instead of treadles. It's a favorite for sampling, workshops, and small spaces. Shop the Louet Jane, Erica, Klik, and Harmony, the Leclerc Dorothy, Voyageur, and Diana, and the Lojan Flex.
Choosing a table loom
Count shafts first. Four shafts weave twills, overshot, and many classic patterns, while 8 or more open up complex block weaves. Then pick a width: narrow looms travel easily, wider ones weave scarves and towels. Many can sit on a floor stand.
