Blended spinning fiber
Blended spinning fiber mixes merino wool with other fibers for extra shine, softness, and color. Try Constellation, a tonal blend of 70% dyed merino and 30% fine Tussah silk, or Bambino merino and bamboo combed top. There are also variety packs, like Cascade Range, Enchanted Lands, Glitzy Glam, and our five Zen Blends.
What each blend adds to your yarn
Silk adds strength, drape, and a soft glow. Bamboo is cool, silky, and very smooth, with a lovely sheen. Because silk and bamboo are slippery, they draft a little differently from pure wool. Spin with a bit more twist and keep your hands a steady distance apart. Variety packs let you try several colors and blends before committing to a big project, and they're perfect for gradient and striped yarn.
