Why self-striping sock kits are so fun
You knit with one strand of yarn, and the color changes happen by themselves. There's no colorwork to manage and no ends to weave in at each stripe. Socks are also a perfect travel project, since they're small and easy to carry. Check each kit for the included pattern, suggested needle size, and yardage. Socks can be knit on double pointed needles, two circulars, or one long circular using magic loop, so use whichever method you like best.
