Mulberry is the smoothest and shiniest. Eri, sometimes called peace silk, is softer and more matte. Tussah has a honey-gold tone and gentle sheen. Noil is nubby and textured, lovely in woven cloth. Wool-silk and merino-silk blends add bounce and warmth.
