This pattern is available for FREE, with purchase of the Ikat Throw Blanket Kit.
The Ikat Throw is worked in a simple textured stitch reminiscent of woven ikat textiles, accentuating Uneek's stripe color shifting. This large blanket consists of three I-cord side edged panels worked in a half-linen stitch field with garter stitch short ends. The panels are worked flat separately, then joined with Kitchener Stitch.
Urth Uneek Worsted yarn is such a pleasure to work with for many different reasons; it’s soft and smooth while work up, it’s self-striping which keeps the project constantly interesting, and it’s a relatively quick work up since the yarn is worsted.
The Ikat Throw Pattern is designed to highlight the unique characteristics of Uneek Worsted Yarn, and with over 25 color options of self-striping yarn available you're sure to find a shade you love!
